JUSTINE SKYE

The Brooklyn-born artist Justine Skye got an early start in the music industry being signed to her first label at just 17 years old. After racking up hundreds of millions of streams early in her career, Skye went independent in 2019 in order to focus on fully forming her artistic identity, a process of discovery that ultimately led her to working with Timbaland after they met via Instagram and immediately developed rapport during the pandemic's period of heightened virtual connection. Their creative kinship birthed her 2021 Timbaland-produced album Space & Time, which served as an artistic reintroduction for Skye and saw her collaborating alongside the likes of Justin Timberlake and Rema. 2022 saw Skye further expand her talents, both making her late night television debut where she premiered her latest single "What A Lie" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and taking on her biggest acting role to date as Annika Longstreet on the hit show Grown-ish.

Most recently, her 2014 single "Collide" found a new audience, growing steadily and organically throughout the second half of 2022. The song, which hit #1 on TikTok's platform at the top of 2023, proved to be a breakthrough for Skye as she debuted a brand new, solo version of “Collide” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at the end of January, 2023 alongside the release of her compilation Dark Side. That compilation, which features highlights from across Skye’s catalog, has since gone on to accumulate over 130M streams worldwide. It's a testament to the timelessness of her talent that's been developing since her earliest musical moments.
